"Chemistry AND Business Studies??  That's a weird combination, Vikki."  This was a fairly common response to my choice of degree 20-something years ago.

But for me, it was spot on. I've always loved the challenge of transforming complex, technical product propositions into a clear picture, creating communications that are easy for customers to understand and that are commercially effective for the business.

This passion has driven me to set up Fresh Perspective Marketing where, acting as a fresh pair of eyes on an organisation, I help businesses cut through all the noise to get crystal clear on their business strategy, prioritise the right things to do and build a marketing plan that will deliver.  I'm equally passionate about then rolling up the sleeves and making that plan happen!

With a Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Postgraduate Diploma and 20 years marketing experience working for global science-based technology company 3M, I can bring the tools and techniques that I've learnt over the years, plus an external perspective, to your organisation.  As marketing manager of one of 3M’s largest divisions, I oversaw several award-wining marketing campaigns targeting both trade and end-users.

I have worked across many B2B industrial markets including construction, manufacturing, engineering, public sector, healthcare, transportation and Health & Safety, and understand the complexities of marketing to multiple decision-makers, often with distribution channels in-between.
